About Volunteering on Multicom-4 ================================ Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help Multicom-4. Multicom-4 is a 'not-for-profit', community-based organization. The success and growth of Multicom-4 is dependent on the energy, dedication, and time of volunteers like you. We want to give you the opportunity to get involved and help support Multicom-4. The unprecedented and overwhelming response from the community caught us unprepared to fully tap the vital resources of Multicom-4 members offering to volunteer. We are currently preparing a volunteer program to better utilize the talent, experience, and enthusiasm of our members. We will need your help to continue to offer a valuable, quality service to the community. The first step is to send E-Mail providing us with some basic information about your interests and skills to "Sysop". We will be recruiting volunteers to meet specific needs identified by the Board of Directors and Committees. As they arise, the task descriptions will be announced in the /Multicom SIG located online Multicom-4. Once you have sent us E-Mail, keep an eye on the /Multicom SIG to see if any upcoming projects interest you. As well, if we come up with a task that seems to suit your interests and skills, we may contact you directly. If you should have any further questions about volunteering or wish to enquire about your volunteer registration please contact Chuck Antonelli, the system operator (Sysop) via E-Mail, or call (716) 442-1669 x 100.
