Some ideas about files
I hope nobody minds if I post some suggestions here! If you are already an expert, you'll know which ones suit you and which don't.
Whoever, you have to create the story.
Tips:
Now, read it again - if you enjoy it, so will we, so post it.
If you want to put a story in the 'Files' section of this or any other Yahoo group, first, you have to be a member. That means you can sign on to Yahoo Groups with an id and a password. Yahoo Groups then shows you the group(s) you belong to. When you click on one of them it will give you the 'Home Page' for that group.
On the left you will find a list of functions for the group, like: Messages, Members, Database, etc. One of these is "Files".
Click on that and it will show you the files (stories, maybe pics, folders, etc) that belong to the group. Click on the icons to open the stories etc.
Just a word. NEVER,NEVER click on something with .pif, .PIF, .exe, .EXE, .bat or .BAT as the suffix. I'd be careful even if I knew the guy who had created it, and I telephoned him and he said it was OK!Up at the top and down at the bottom is a line in blue (on my PC at least!) which says
Add File | Create Text File | Create Folder .To add a story, click
Add File. It will give you a place to put in the name of the file containing your story. If you need to, click Browse, to look for the file in your folders. Please fill in the description, especially if the story is kind of specialised. Like, two of the Darren stories are a bit rough! If it's just one story,
Add File is fine. If there's several (grrreat!) use Create Folder to upload several files into a folder that we can browse.A couple of thoughts about circstories
Rick, I hope this is OK by you?
